How to Create a Holiday Campaign To Remember

Looking for tips on creating your own memorable Holiday campaign? It’s simple: Find what unites all families during the Holidays and create content they’ll want to share.

For Vaughan Mills, a large shopping mall in Vaughan, Ontario, this meant creating Santa’s Tiny Big Town, the perfect place for families to make memories they’d want to remember forever.

Unlike other Santa experiences, this one provides a winding entrance full of interactive games children can play while they wait to see Santa, as well as a unique narrative focusing on the importance of spending time with the ones you love. During the experience, families watch a short animated film about a magical key and then receive a real key they can hide for Santa to use on Christmas Eve.

To coincide with the launch of Tiny Big Town, Vaughan Mills also announced a new charitable partner, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). One hundred per cent of proceeds from all photo packages sold will be donated to SickKids for the duration of Santa’s Tiny Big Town, with a goal of raising $100,000. Viewers are urged to share across their networks using #keytotheholidays. (The timing is perfect, as 40% of the $13 billion Canadians donate every year is made in the last six weeks of the year.)

The final piece in this awesome campaign was the below heart-warming video created by Chime Digital and our sister company, Door Knocker Media, about the real meaning of Christmas—and it has nothing to do with the number of presents under the Christmas tree! Trust us, you’ll be reaching for tissues by the end.

Why not share the video to help them reach their goal?
